The Eight International School on Architectures, tools and methodologies for developing efficient large scale scientific computing applications (ESC16) begins today at the University Residential Centre of Bertinoro (Ce.U.B.) located in Bertinoro (Forlì-Cesena, Italy), about 85 km from Bologna.

Peter Elmer (Princeton) serves on the International Scientific Committee for the ESC16 school. He has previously chaired the committee and was one of the founders of the ESC school in Bertinoro.
